Frequently asked questions
Which documents do I need to register a car from the EU?
Usually the foreign registration certificate, proof of acquisition (the purchase contract), ID, proof of insurance and the technical inspection report. The exact list depends on the age and type of the car, so we check your documents before we start.
Does the car have to pass the MOT before registration?
Yes. An imported vehicle goes through a technical inspection and a registration inspection (evidenční kontrola) before it is entered in the register. Preparing for and accompanying you to the MOT is part of our service.
Can you handle the registration without me?
Yes. With a power of attorney we handle the registration on your behalf, so you do not have to attend in person.
